Bellaris

The Bellaris are a warlike race that had mastered plasma weaponry. These weapons wreaked havoc on the unshielded Human warships, though Human Warp Superiority won the war after a bitter 8 year long war. The Bellaris helped found the Alliance as the Empire weakend

Anatomy

The Bellaris are sluglike, with no real skeleton. They move using the same principles of slug movement. Their skin has evolved to become resistant to plasma weapons.

Genetics and Reproduction

The Bellaris reproduse Asexually by dividing. However, genetic mutations are common due tot he high levels of radiation on their home planets.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Bellaris have a weakend sense of touch, as their tough skin makes a need for touch receptors evolutionarily redundant. In addition, their constant warring has made pain an inhibitor, as the soldiers who cannot feel pain will not be hindered by it.
