Diary of Syleran - S32
Met Ahyr at the Temple of Firahel in temple spire. She puts myself, Ashe, Greg and Breeza through trials. We all passed the trials (Greg passed the kiddie course) and learned a new language. I also leveled up my moondrop blade.
During supper, Ashe/Kai La'i received a note requesting a meeting regarding the slavery locations. Turns out it was an Onyx Spear trap and we were attacked. Ashe exploded a couch out on the balcony to attract attention from the authorities while we fought off the attackers.

Sherridan has left the party, leaving a note (Hello everybody, something came up and I have to go. Ummm... what else do I say? You don't need to worry about me; I'm sure everything will be ok. And I'm certain we'll all meet again in the future. Side notes for the whole team.)
We have a few new party members!! Kairon and Topaz. Ea is the new secretary for the BA8 HQ, and B'Dan is the new security detail.
We met "little" Nour while we were on the road south. We're looking to investigate the undead problems.

we made it to the monastery
it turns out that the monastery was being visited every night by zombies, which abducted most of the monks
we monitored the zombies for the first night, then tracked them down into a tunnel

Kai'lai and I head further into Myskral
- we go shopping for some items, and I end up buying 2 small ingots of mythril and selling an old staff
we decide to head to Emerald by boat
we arrive at Emerald and we see that Sherridan now has a shrub on her shoulder
- the shrub's name is Abby
we ended up staying at Vesper's parents place with Ki'va
the next morning Ki'va brought us to meet her parents at the museum (Tchut'ka and Vetra) after calling them
- Vetra did arm wrestling with Vesper
- Tchut'ka did spell sparring with Greg
-we're now on our way to Mesric Monastery

forces show up at the building and demand that we hand over "the shard"
- we kill them
we talked to Ki'va for a while; it turns out she's been in the crystal for 150 years
apparently Kai'Lai thinks I'm handsome...... I don't know what to do with this information

S26:
headed towards New Illios
encountered the consuming flame zealots and dealt with them
got to a building just outside of Myskral and found the blood lotus
- almost died again (gotta stop doing that)
- Sheridan asked me to stop running ahead without talking to the party first

we made it into the basement of the building
found some people who aren't friendly
made it to the basement of the building
- fought off lots of baddies
- found Kiva encased in crystal
- managed to get her out of the crystal

30th of Tharia
We're currently staying in an onsen inn, eating dinner
We will be heading to Myskral for our next part
- Cyan is "hiring" us to do some excavation; we will be picking up Mai on the way for this
in the onsen:
- apparently, Markus is a spirit of intellect
note to self, don't touch Kai'Lai when she's asleep
we went shopping and I bought a bunch of stuff (some gifts for friends...)
we will be getting 25gp a day if not on an expedition, 50gp a day while on expedition
- there is an extra pay grade for danger pay
we head out towards Myskral

We finished clearing out the tower; started looting the rooms
- we're working on repairing the broken pipes before we clear out the demon ichor
we met someone named 'Kiva' who's talking to us telepathically
- we don't know where she is, but she seems to need help
it turns out that the chipmunk following us was the adult dragon in charge of watching the woods, named Yndriess
- they thank us for helping with the demons and walk us to the edge of the woods
we make it back to New Illios to rest
we level up to 7!!

We enter the tower...
We killed a bunch of things, but it's a short session, so that's it!

Daerlin has been afraid of having a song written about him this whole time
We head out to Wyrmwood, arrive by nightfall
after resting for the night, we head into the woods
- we get a little lost
Found the tower, killed some demons outside
- used some silver keys we'd previously found to open the door

We are heading back to Sariel City
Return to the tent to hand in the holy symbol from the church (Tobias Sparkle)
- gave the holy symbol to Tobias in return for information about the Blood Lotus
- Blood Lotus is searching for something to restart some kind of "heart"; they're looking through old Illios looking for a crystal, about 3"-4", in an intricate box
- Blood Lotus has been investigating "strange towers"; they found one near New Barbaria and Myskral
Go back to the Inn in Sariel city; do some shopping; we all have comm pearls now
We spend some time in the hot springs and rest for the night
We say goodbye to Mei as she leaves to report to her superiors
We start discussing where to go next; but get distracted talking about why Daerlin doesn't want to go home
We head out for Mara (Daerlin's hometown)
- we arrive in Mara and head towards the Hare Inn
- we are questioning why Daerlin is so uneasy in his hometown (Kai'lai is already off poking around)
- we end up sparring before retiring for the night
- I ended up losing; I think I need to work on my training....
The next day, everyone kinda disappears from the Inn
- I end up climbing the Inn to sight-see and notice a large crowd as well as some of my friends, so I run over to join them
- turns out a half-dragon child was attacked and came into the village
we're waiting for the child to wake up so that we can find out what happened
I temporarily return to the Inn to teach children how to do flips and jumps (a child saw me to flips off the Inn and got excited to learn)
when the girl wakes up, I return to the village center to find out what's going on
- she says she was attacked by monsters who use magic; mentioned black goo
- girl's name is Luminia, her mother's name is Livezzenvivexious
we're going to head into Wyrmwood to try to save the other half-dragon children from the demons

Made it to the church at the top of the plateau in Matra
- there looks to be a beholder and 2 ogres at the entrance to the church
- I do NOT like undead beholders; they hurt me
Apparently undead minotaurs will charge, even if you close the door on them
We found notes within the church (looks like a group of people came through the church previously, but we don't see their bodies yet)
Made it to the basement and found the reliquary

I accidentally snuck up on Adrie in the tower basement
we made it to Sariel so that we could rest for the night
- staying in the 'Skinny Unicorn' for the night
4 of the 6 weather towers have now been cleared (The Shroud, Etran, Kaveralis, and Sariel city)
- the last 2 towers that we know of are in Greycastle and Wyrmwood
met Mei (Aura dragoon) in the tower basement
we all bonded in a private onsen; Daerlin doesn't like to talk about himself
after resting at the inn, we followed Mei to a "seedy bar" to meet her contact
Mei takes Daerlin and Vesper to meet her contact; the rest of us wait at a table in the main part of the bar (she gave me a lance to keep until she returned)
we retrieve the 3 captured men for Mei's contact and return them to the bar
- side note: Sherridan is very good at negotiations
we headed out to Metra to get the artifact from a church (as requested by Mei's contact)
