Empire of Sin

The Empire of Sin was a political entity which existed from 465 to 467, during which time it spread from its original territory of Aethelcar to encompass all the lands from Faraconia to Gothtar, and launching an unsuccessful invasion of Belldocia. The founder and sole emperor of Sin was Toliman, who had become the Iconium Hamartia. The Empire of Sin had no laws, nor any real system of government, and was more akin to a geographic state of anarchy than a proper empire. Long-persecuted mages enjoyed near total freedom due to Toliman's destruction of Emuna within the empire, and rained havoc for two years before Toliman's death and the Tolimanic Apocalypses.
