Salt City

Located in the northwest coast of the Arrinueraga Salt Lake, Salt City is a fascinating display of New Age technology. The city was built into the lake as a means of defense and camouflage, but as time went on the base expanded further and further into the lake, becoming the great city it is today. All of the energy this city uses comes from the dams that protect it, and is considered to be one of the Union's most energy efficient cities.

Demographics

As with all Yormish cities, Salt City is primarily inhabited with humans, were-kin, and unusuallites, though the city does have a decent amount of Chimdae.

Defences

As a Union city SC is supported by both the organization's Navy and Air Force, though the city does have its own personal navy. Even though the city hasn't been the target of a naval attack in more than a century the Vicora Dam is patrolled constantly, and is further protected by its numerous defensive turrets.

Industry & Trade

Salt Fishing A practice unique to Arrinueraga, salt fishers use specialized equipment to dislodge and harvest the various salt crystals that lie with the lake. While the crystals are the incentive, many hopeful fishers look to haul the lakes famous Salt Golems.
DIDRO Bombs Is a tool used by rescue teams, DIDRO Bombs are a special type of grenade that, when in contact with water, absorbs the liquid for fifteen minutes. It's used in events of flooding by national guards around the world, and is the generally agreed upon usage of the device. However DIDRO Bombs used to be a military weapon capable of both sucking a river or reserve dry, and flooding lakes with extreme amounts of salt. This version of the weapon has been banned however, because of the environmental impact it had during its service.
