Saint Ramon's

Built in 1749, Saint Ramon's was an experimental university situated on the western coast of the W'ekinywa Gulf. It was said to be created with the intention of housing Invectar of differing or warring houses in an attempt to settle differences and improve relationships. Named after the Brakar saint of diplomacy, Ramon, the university began housing students in 1751.   The school was marred with criticisms ever since its opening after their then controversial acceptance of several students of the Diptera house. Though, the school kept a relatively clean record for its first twenty years, before a string of disappearances occured in 1772. Ku'kuwe Renaak, a known Chacovar extremist, was found and charged with their murders after chitin and mandibles were found in a hidden floor compartment in her dorm room. Afterwards, students of the Hemiptera house were no longer admitted into the school. Other controversies stem from the fact throughout the course of Saint Ramon's life it was subject to several building collapses and explosions, all inevitably blamed on the school's location on a magic fault.   The school was briefly shut down for renovations on the main campus, for which it would allow for 5,000 new students to attend. In this time, students were housed in special offsite facilities, and it is to be noted that students who went home and returned noted a strangeness about their peers. The school reopened with a new dorm building, La Roqeune, and two towers dedicated to biology and chemistry. In 1793, Saint Ramon's built a small community town in response to its many alumni returning to work or live close to the school.   On October 20, 1801, the school was directly hit by Hurricane Magia Venice, which had been imbued with a substantial amount of ice magic after its recent passing through the Frostmarch. After a concerning amount of time with no word from the school, the army was sent out to provide aid for the school. They did not return, and after several other similar situations the area was considered to be a no-mans-land.    Some still believe Saint Ramon's exists, most think it had been destroyed in the hurricane, and few believe it was taken by the Yonderrealm. No matter, nobody that visits this place will return.
