The fourth of the eight dragon dieties, The Radiance is the deity of magic, science and discovery. Her territory is the east half of Brigyia, given to her by Queen Lenka in an act of good will. Her children, the Radiant dragons, value the pursuit and distribution of knowledge above all else, and are often teachers, scholars, or scientists. Her domain, Haphazard Laboratory, is open for all to use, and can be found in any scientific convention center within her physical territory.
She herself was born from the mixing of Lady Augury's divine blood and a potent concentration of magic sludge. She was raised by Warden Luciela in Chilia, before learning of the nature of her creation and returning to Brigyia. Obsessed with figuring out how she was made, she began to throw herself into science and magic. Conducting countless experiments on herself and her surroundings as she searched for answers. It was in a field test involving her own blood that she bestowed her blessing on a passing dragon, and ascended to godhood.

The Lantern Codex

The Lantern Codex consists of all of The Radiance's creations and discoveries in her field, whether it be from the lab or from some other, less ethical experiments. Because of the values and beliefs of radiant dragons, the Lantern Codex is given to magic academies for study. Though it tends to end up being sold to powerful figures and unsavory characters instead. However, The Radiance constantly learns and changes her way of thinking, so the codex is frequently stolen back to update.
