Terrifia

Created by

Terriffia is a world with an ecosystem similar to the Earth's. The land is broken up into four notable continents, Tu'La, Ro’Aine, Beskott, and Murr’Belle. Tu'La being the powerhouse and the largest of the four. Ro'Aine is closer to the Northern hemisphere, Murr'Belle being closer to the Southern hemisphere, and Beskott and Tu'La falling around the middle.   Though Tu'La is the biggest continent of the four, it was the last discovered by the outside. Not many dared to venture to it due to the inhabitants that already claimed the land. The land is very diverse, from large forests to deserts, lakes to mountains to swamps, etc. etc. This is also why when more creatures came from other lands, it was easy for them all to find a place they can call home. Though for a while the lands were divided, a great act from Queen Teaonai Fresk (1300) to create a large academy for the children of each Race. This act formed a strong bond throughout the land, and it still exists to this day. For this reason, Tu'La is now seen as the Symbol of Peace throughout the rest of Terrifia.   Ro'Aine, the military capital of the world, is known for their harsh winters and strong warriors. The population greatly decreased in the year 1100-1600 by 30% due to the Plauge Del' Rosu. (Plauge of Plants) where due to the deforestation of Yag'Stril Forest in Tu'La, pollen from the plants inside had followed the breeze up north to Ro'Aine, where the plants had begun growing inside people and eventually killing them. The only known cure was to remove the roots of the plant, but that sometimes ended up with eternal bleeding if not taken care of soon enough. One of their main attractions would be 'Lago de los Caballeros', or Lake of The Knight. Rumored to be blessed by the sword of The Silver Maiden back in the times of The War of The Races. Somehow the land 20 miles around is untouched by the frosty north's eternal winter. It's become a famous vacationing spot in current years.   Beskott is very similar to Tu'La in terms of weather and geology, though is much smaller, and has been in fact nicknamed 'Joven Le Tu'La' or Young Tu'La. It's most famous for the 'Ciudad De Piedra', City of Stone, and the statue of The Silver Maiden rest on top of Mount. Plata (Sliver). The City of Stone, or Ciudad De Piedra, is a large town that surrounds all of MoUnt. Plata (Silver). Around 1600, 400 years after the war had ended and peace had been brought to Tu'La, The Silver Maiden's statue was built on top of Mount. Plata (Silver) in memory of Lyrell Jackson, who helped lead and win the war. Though this was all before they found out that Mount. Plata (Silver) was actually an active volcano. In the year 1623, it had erupted. (Similar to Pompeii) Though The Silver Maiden's statue held back a good percentage of the actual lava, the city (previously named Tankoo) had been coated with ash, killing many of the people. Though after all had been said in done, in about 1730 they had come back and found that the buildings, and its insides, were free of ash. Their structures were so strong that they had not crumbled under the weight of the heavy ash. In attempts to restore the city, they had begun clearing all the ash and pumice to reveal a still intact city and building a large memorial for all of the lives lost at the base of The Silver Maiden's statue. Today the city is still visitable, and Mount. Plata (Silver) is now inactive.   Last but not least, Mur'Belle. A country well known for its medicine and The Temple Of The Damned, which is a kinder name for basically a world prison. While all of Terrifia's worst people are sent there, it's also where all of the black-haired Mei'Fweans were banished to. The land itself is a bit similar to Ro'Aine in terms of weather conditions but is much more sparse in terms of trees and such. Instead, it has tall mountians and is actually very populated despite its harsh winter conditions. Many of the world's greatest doctors and healers come from this land, the most popular being the Sinae, Healers of the Snow. They are creatures native to this land and live in temples built on top of the mountains. Their powers seem to work best in areas of chaos, for reasons unknown but are proven to be great medics on the battlefronts, such as The War of Races in Tu'La. Many of them were sent to aid soldiers of all races. In the center of the land, on the biggest mountain, sits The Temple of the Damned, the large prison. While the most of the structure looks like a grand temple from the outside, inside, dug deep into the mountain, is the prison. Over two thousand beings are kept there, be it for crimes they've committed or their powers being proven too powerful for the world to handle, or even just banishment, all of them are kept there for a reason. Most people are not allowed near this building without the authorization of the King and Queen. This is also why the land is ranked the second most dangerous after Ro'Aine.
