The Divine Trinity
Creation
The Divine Light, Body, and Spirit are the three aspects of The Creator who made the heavens, the earth and the creatures that walk upon it. God's final act of creation was to make mankind, whom he blessed with sentience that they might appreciate the wonders of the world around them. However, over millennia, humans became more and more tempted by their baser instincts. They started wantonly consuming, destroying and corrupting His Divine Work. Man began following heresies, worshiping false gods or basing their faith in power-hungry magic use. Witnessing the defiling of his creation, God despaired and considered destroying everything. However, instead he stayed his hand for a time and split Himself into three in a final attempt to guide humanity on the path to righteousness.The Three Divine Aspects
The Divine Light
God's Light enlightens the faithful with a higher reasoning above the base instincts of human nature. With the Divine Light come virtues such as justice, wisdom (not knowledge), nobility, charity and mercy. It is often thought that this aspect offers guidance to rulers and leaders and nobility.The Divine Form
The Divine Form is the physical embodiment of God, and from it stem the bounties of the earth, home and family. Encompassing the harvest, fertility and healing, this aspect is by far the most worshiped by among the general populace who pray to it for good harvests, healthy babies or cures for the sick. The Divine Form proselytizes the virtues of purity, diligence and devotion.The Divine Spirit
The Divine Spirit enthuses the faithful with righteousness giving strength to heart, mind and body. Valor, bravery, honor, loyalty are among the virtues strongly advocated, and unsurprisingly, the Divine spirit is cherished by knights, soldiers and all those who fight.The Trinity in society
The Trinity does not 'play' well with other pantheons or sentient races. Dogma teaches that theirs is the one true God and all others are foul impostors. Monarchs & rulers who are unable to control this church can find themselves dragged into expensive holy wars against foreign nations.Church teachings and worship pervade deep into society providing leaders with divine blessing to rule over the peasant masses. Although this religion preaches heavily about morals, it certainly could not be said worshipers are more altruistic that followers of other religions, however they are more self-righteous.

This is my attempt to create a pantheon/deity based around the feudal English tenets of the three different classes of people: Those who fight, those who work and those who rule (originally pray). A trinity of deities, of which most people worship the deity for those who work. Additionally, I wanted the religion to be moralistic in nature, similar to the Abrahamic religions of our world today.
As a result, all my ideas felt somewhat...Catholic. I tried forcing my ideas away from anything resembling Christianity, but everything felt shallow, fake and 'unworshipable'. In the end I just decided to write what felt authentic to me and didn't care about similarities to Christianity. I'd love to get the feedback of other world builders before delving further into the Divine Trinity.
