Xha'krell
In Western Ostensia, beyond the Gravanguard mountains lie the wastes of Xha'krell. Xha'krell is a mysterious and insular nation, and is politically separate from the 7 realms of Kyloria.
It is largely inhabited by drow, orcs, goblins and other races which have been historically hostile and monstrous. During the calamity, it was the home to the god of undeath, Orcus, and the chained oblivion Tharizdun. These combined features have lead other nations to be very hostile towards Xha'krell.
It is ruled by an oligarchy known as the Crimson Concord. Little is known about the Crimson Concord and their relation with their citizens, although many speculate that it is an opressive autocratic regime. Recently, rumors have spread of a horrible plague sweeping through the nation, which has lead other nations to further distance themselves from these mysterious wastelands. Xha'krell has provided resources along the border to Kyloria in order to help maintain its quarantine, and protect the realms of Kyloria while it recovers from the plague.
