Death is the natural end of life. Grieve the fallen, but do not pity them. Exult in the time that they were granted.   The path of Fate is sacrosanct. Those who pridefully cast off destiny must be punished.   Undeath is an atrocity. Death is too good a punishment for those who pervert the rightful transition of the soul.

    Social

    Contacts & Relations

Occasionally, a mortal will be born as a fatetouched. There is nothing obviously different about a fatetouched individual, aside from the fact that they may seem to be unnaturally lucky, or may seem to be able to skirt the edges of death. These individuals have a powerful gift to manipulate the threads of fate, which they can learn to harness through the guidance of the Raven Queen.   Some fatetouched spend their afterlives in assistance to the Raven Queen, helping to aid souls in the transition from life to death. Gerome Gerald is one such individual, who used his gift against the Raven Queen's will to unnaturally change the fate of a resurrection, and made a pact of eternal servitude as attonement for his hubris.
