Intelligent Species

According to recorded history, there were four major sentient intelligent species that eventually dominated their food chain then slowly formed current society. The most prevalent being human, though not physically superior to other existing organisms they dominated through their ingenuity. Seraph, near identical to humans in both appearance and biology, they coexisted alongside humans blending in with them and contributing to each other's survival. Daemos, another species very similar to humans aside from that they are on average built physically stronger and bare horns. Finally, Wyverians, who may appear human at first glance but have unique "biological differences". The current world is rather developed, with infrastructure, technologies, traditions, distinct nations with established centralized powers and many other distinctions.
Humans
Thought to be the progenitor of the other sentient species, they are considered to be the original sapient, as in a biological sense, their bodies are like scaffolding to the eccentricities of the other intelligent species. Since they are considered the base form, classification of the other intelligent species are centered around differences from the human form, in both the physical and etherious sense. Humans lack any unique aspect and their abilities manifest as an immaterial phenomena, human abilities often referred to as an EI (Etherious Impossibility)
Seraph
Seraph are indistinguishable from humans in appearance and biology. The major difference is that their ether contains a unique aspect dubbed "seraphic". Aspects are not merely simple additions that can be easily added or removed but are an integral facet to their ether as a whole, like how DNA is to the body. Of all the sapient species, seraphs seem to have the greatest capacity to manifest an ability, and powerfuls ones at that.Their abilities manifest as personal equipment or objects with unique properties and effects, seraphic abilities often referred to as an EA (etherious armament).
Daemos
In appearance, daemos are much easier to identify as members of the species each have horns unique to the individual that often remain retracted, but emerge when roused. Physically, they are often larger than an average human and have longer natural lifespans. Their aspect is referred to as "daemonic" and their abilities manifest as familliars with unique abilities, daemonic abilities being referred to as ES (Etherious Summon)
Wyverian
Wyverians are by far the most difficult to categorize because biology differs from type to type as there are many and can even be unique to the individual. Their uniting trait is their etherious aspect called "wyverian". The wyverian aspect is the only of the three that can be predominantly be found in the nature of their homeland. Trances of the wyverian aspect can be found al throughout nature of the wyverian continent. Those with that trait manifesting certain characteristics of the animal kingdom. Whichever creature a wyverian inherits traits from and what traits are inherited seem to be random, but environment seem to have some influence. Sometimes these traits cannot even be visible at first glance. Scales, extra limbs and such may be easily seen, but not so much with for example, stronger senses and bodies, poisonous blood, longer lives, or an internal organ that allows the generation of electric currents, though its very rare for a wyverian to look completely human. Inheritance isn't limited to any group of animals and there have been cases where wyverians were born inheriting traits from rare, fantastic, and dangerous beasts though very uncommon. Those are all physical differences but there are etherious ones as well. Wyverians seem to be the least likely to manifest an ability, these abilities being facillitated by some part of their body, often their wyverian trait, and involves transformative or somatic qualities. Wyverian abilities are referred to as an EM (Etherious Mutation)
The Fourth Aspect
To say humans lack any aspect is slightly inaccurate. Humans, Seraph, Daemos and Wyverian have another aspect dubbed "Soul". Soul is currently considered an aspect but many think there is much more to it and demands further study. All members of the four major sentient always have soul and is accepted that it is what classifies a creature as sentient. Many mysteries surround its existence including that in can be roughly identified, but not quantified. Alas, how is a person any more a person than another.
There are currently four major species that have been seen to always be sentient, each having their own unique quirks. Note that the term human can refer to humans, daemos, seraph and wyverian; Anything sentient.
