Elf
Tall, noble, and often haughty, elves are long-lived and subtle masters of the wilderness. Elves excel in the arcane arts. Often they use their intrinsic link to nature to forge new spells and create wondrous items that, like their creators, seem nearly impervious to the ravages of time. A private and often introverted race, elves can give the impression they are indifferent to the plights of others.
Civilization and Culture
History
They come from a different world, similar in nature to Londe. They used powerful magic to search the universe for a tree that was similar enough to those on this world as to show that wherever it was would be capable of supporting them and opened a gate connecting the one they found to one on their world. Why they left is a mystery. It could have been because the world they lived on was going to be destroyed, had been made uninhabitable, or simply because the group that left wanted to go somewhere else like the Pilgrims.
