Straydus Herodin

The last of an elder bloodline that ruled Stalwart and maintained its dignity, Straydus is considered a filthy coward. During the last battle of Stalwart, he crouched behind the walls of Sentinel Stand Keep and refused to meet Kyros' forces on the field of battle. He would neither surrender nor impel his soldiers to do so. As such, Kyros decreed that storms would ravage the country until the Regent was dead. Straydus Herodin was free to kill himself, of course, but he was either too proud or too gutless for the task.
Because he persists in crouching behind the walls of Sentinel Stand, the Edict of Storms rages around the citadel and throughout the country, no one has been able to enter or exit since the last year of the conquest. No bird or missive has left the windwall, either.
