Horde

The unwashed, undisciplined, unskilled masses of the Scarlet Chorus are known as the Horde. The only advantage these "soldiers" possess is their overwhelming numbers.
When the Scarlet Chorus conquers a town or village, a ritual known as the 'culling' is held. Every able-bodied man, woman, and sometimes child, is forced to fight their families and neighbors to the death. Only those brutal enough to kill their loved ones will survive to join the Horde, where they're given a chance to earn a name, a weapon, and some semblance of a future.
