Cadaver is famous for being the birthplace of shell housing, a ingenious and resourceful way to set up save long term shelter discovered by Nik Gourn. These houses made out of giant turtle shells scatter the sides of the shore. Many people have also built into the buttes, stone and dirt towers, surrounding the area.

Cadaver maybe located in the desert but its a sort after oasis for many due to its massive lake and thriving ecosystem.
