Terrania
Long ago, the Norduans of House Astrana broke away from their old continent and sailed across the Stormy Sea, settling upon the continent of Terrania. Meeting the natives, or Terrans, the two groups began to coexist on the land as the Norduans began construction on their great city, many villages and towns sprouting from this central point. At some point, however, the capital crumbled and the towns were destroyed, leaving only a handful of Norduans on the land as their renowned Empire was reduced to ash. Along with this, the Natives were gone without a trace. Some villages managed to stay in tact, but most was lost to this tragedy.
Hundreds of years later, explorers from the nearby continent of Thertana stumble upon the Western Edge of the landmass, quickly settling here behind the great impassable mountains that divide the two groups; Old and new. Along with this, strange magical anomalies are beginning to be discovered, adding to the mystery of what happened to this seemingly cursed landmass. From the isolated eastern trading society of Aguazna, to the cursed canyons of Obleskia, to the natural monster of Old Nordu, this continent has a wide variety of very very strange occurances.
Meanwhile, the players have just woken up after being given a mysterious message by a long deceased Native Monk. But one thing is different; All the party members have the ability to speak and interact with the dead.
