Centar and Eve

Centar is a very tall and muscular Tabaxi. He originally came from the island of Ru. He is tough, stubborn, and can be harsh sometimes but he is well-meaning. Centar used to be a pirate, but when his ship was attacked by other pirates he was marooned on Halumoku. It was on Halumoku where he met Eve, a young female Tabaxi. Eve was tending to his wounds and treating him in a small tent when he woke up. He doesn't remember much about the incident that led to him being marooned. Eve was terrified of Centar. He was huge and scary looking, but she did her best to heal him. He admired her beauty and thought she was rather clumsy, he grabbed extra bandages and stumbled outside of the tent.
Eve frantically tried to stop him, she didn't want him to reopen his wounds, she was a lot shorter and admittedly much weaker, but she stood her ground. Centar, not wanting to hurt her, stopped. Eve explained that she had gone through his belongings while he was unconscious and found out he was a pirate, she said she was scared but that she wanted to heal him first before he left. Eve was a trained nurse and explained that she was passionate about helping others. Helping pirates was prohibited and she knew that, but she couldn't live with herself if she didn't try to help him. Centar laughed a little, he thought it was funny that anyone would try to help a pirate, but he found her act admirable. He told Eve that he had nowhere to go anyway and stayed. Relieved, Eve made some tea and the two of them got to talking. Centar said he had dreams of becoming a chef, but life on Ru was difficult. Life on Ru was different. He became a pirate because it was the only way to adventure and get out of his miserable home life. Eve said she was sorry about his home life and she had heard horror stories about Ru, she felt sorry for Centar. Centar said that if he could change he would study to be a chef, he'd marry someone and they would have a dozen children. Eve found this charming and said she would love to see him achieve his dream, eventually, they fell asleep under the stars. Centar and Eve married a year after their first encounter.
When their first son, Damian was born, Centar cried and swore to be the best father he could be. As a father he always played with his children, he also taught them to fish and navigate. He also taught them how to fight. Eve often disapproved of Centar teaching the children to fight but she reluctantly knew that they'd be better off learning how to fight from someone like their father. Eve always danced and sang, teaching the children the traditions of Halumoku. Despite being tough, Eve always brought out Centar's sweet side. He is strongly in love with Eve, even after being married for over 30 years.
