Distinctions

Cylinders

Cylinders are named by the number in the order built. 
i.e. ##

Cylinder Sections

Cylinder Sections are named by an order of three items. The first item is the number of the cylinder in which the section is in. The second item is the abbreviation denoting the sections designation. The third item is the number in the order built. These are separated by dashes
i.e. <cylinder number>-<abbreviation>-<section number>

Section Designation Abbreviations

• R - Residential
• C - Commercial
• I - Industrial
• M - Medical
• MRC - Mixed Residential Commercial
• MIL - Military
• A - Administrative
• T - Technical
• RT - Research Technology
• RS - Research Science
• RM - Research Medical
• O - Other

Nicknames

Cylinders

Cylinder Nicknames are designated by +<nickname> attached to the end of the ID. The name must be unique & without spaces.

i.e. ##+<nickname>

Cylinder Sections

Cylinder Section Nicknames are designated +<nickname> attached to the end of the official name. The name must be unique within that Cylinder & without spaces.
i.e. <cylinder number>-<abbreviation>-<section number>+<nickname>

Full Nicknames

Names for sections are allowed to also be designated as cylinder nickname and section nickname with a dash.
i.e. <cylinder nickname>-<section nickname>
