It is 125 years after the great war and the Cleanse, the coldest of the ice age is coming to an end. The days are getting warmer and life is getting better. The Rebirth of Terra is the dawn of a new age of humanoids. The awakened planet, known as Z'An-Ya, found her surface too harsh for humans to survive and has since guided the evolution of humans into dwarfs, elves, half-folk, ferrians, reptilians, and Avions. To prevent humanoids from creating destructive technology once again, she touched them with the power to see and manipulate the arcane power of the universe known as Essence.
