Terra

Terra is a land that has just recovered from a 50 year long war. 500 years after the war and the people of Terra are back to their normal lives, living with the threat of monsters and thief's larking in the dark. As much as "Normal goes" the south and east of Terra are divided on how magic should be treated when Cealondians (West) lost to the Letheans (East).   The Cealondians focused on close combat fighting which inevitably lost the the Letheans supreme knowledge in the arcane. The battlefield were filled with the Cealondians, but the magic that was used would eradicate the foot soldiers by the hundreds. The races that participated in the war was primarily human, although the Letheans drafted near by elves and dwarves to put in the front lines as not to spend their own soldiers. This was not taken well in the elven and dwarves communities. in the end the elves did not has enough people to run their society, so the reminder of them assimilated into the human cities and culture. The dwarfs decided to go to war with the Letheans, being pushed back up to their capital where they are now beginning to expand.   During the war the wild lands stared to have inhabitance that were intelligent. normal monsters that were community based suddenly gained the intelligence of humans. After the war, the monsters became intrigued with the outside world. The creature started to repairing the towns and battle fields, quickly earning the respect of the civilized world. While the war was going on, the monsters of the land were unchecked, leading to more monsters and powerful beings.   Today the people of terra enjoy their games and commodities, like festivals and competitions. The fighting competitions are so big in terra that each major city having a competition with their own rules. The majority of Terra are light hearted and just looking for a good time, Although tensions rise from people who don't like the outcome of the war along side the position that they are in.
