Archmage Council

The Archmage Council was an elitist council of eight Archmages who each specialised in a particular school of magic. It was active for many years until it disbanded at the end of the Summer War. It disbanded as a result of Meredith Greytower's constant lies and deceits, and that she preferred to put herself in a position of power over the Moonlight Brigade than devote herself to the School of Evocation.

Disbandment

The Candlenights Treaty saw the Archmage Council be disbanded as they had outdated views on magic and its capabilities.
