Two comets rained down on an unprepared Earth. Economies, whole society in ruins, civilization barely held on as millions die and more do following the extreme conditions. The survivors, members of twelve different sapient species struggled through the long night. One species, in particular, had a very dark secret that they feared the other species would learn.   Thirty years later...   Despite the uniqueness, one chiefdom acquired a way to live in harmony and self-respect. Consisting of five of the twelve sapients, they may hold the key to rebuilding the planet. If the world doesn't rip them apart with its own unique secrets and dangers.
