Terr

The world of Terr used to be a land crawling with monsters and demons while humanity would hide in the shadows, until one day the great paladin, Lillith, banded together the humans in a great war against the demon hoards. Lillith's armies crushed the demons and with her mighty blade Æther, she sent the demons back into the shadows. Since Her passing, Terr is a land of relative peace, which is kept by the dominant force for Lillith's followers, The Children of the Blade. They rule over Terr with strong military power and seek to eliminate any religion that does not worship their god. Humans also live on coastal cities that have not yet been swept under the rule of Lillith's hand. These cities are lawless and regularly have crime and murder happen without anyone thinking of it. Besides the Humans, Terr is populated by cities of elves and dwarves who are distrusting of humans, but understand the necessity of working with them, and well as scattered groups of many other species. The east of the continent is mostly filled with the last remnants of how Terr used to be, populated by mostly orcs and goblins who seek to destroy the humans, but both sides are currently at a standstill in the war with neither side making any headway for centuries.
