The Shop out of Nowhere

Purpose / Function

It should be obvious! If it weren't a shop - then what else would it be for? Do you think i'm stupid? Were your answer to that question yes, then I shall most grudgingly explain: A shop, this one included, is a facility for the commercial distribution of goods or services in exchange for an amount of currency. However this shop, as it has apparently come "Out of Nowhere", as faux-mysterious and cool as it is, does not accept currency, but instead rare but seemingly useless artifacts scattered across Jhaeloe in exchange for a dazzling array of technological wonders of which few can be named in Gieloskan!
Here one can find sheets of shiny paper into which one can transmit and display their own thoughts, jittering shaking boxes that can transmute any vegetable matter into delectable, piping hot viands, telescopes that allow one to peep on aliens showering, and tiny little boxes that capture images. There are birds - of which there are none on Jhaeloe- or at least sophisticated automatons constructed in their likeness out of thousands of wafer-thin curved metal plating which overlap flawlessly to imitate feathers, painted in vibrant, never-fading colours like that of the male peacock. Delightfully dandy, especially when couriering your mail! There are thousands more such wonders in store, which is surprising given that the Shop out of Nowhere is no larger than an earthly taco truck.

Alterations

Ever since the traveller Tahmat-Zor first noticed it on a luxuriant cruise along the Lilac Skies there have been no changes whatsoever to the exteriors of the Shop Out of Nowhere, though it vanishes sometimes and appears in different places to different people - mostly brave, adventuresome sorts, who are a little on the greedy side - the treasures presented within have always been different.

Architecture

It is a laughably, offensively tawdry, haphazard parody of what is largely assumed by Vramcharpians and other ignorant offworlders to constitute "Gieloskan" architecture, although it is doubtful that a Vramcharpian could ever construct such a thing, much larger on the inside than it is on the outside. The pagoda roof is made out of a single piece of plastic, and the edges of the roof curve up too high. The walls are whitewashed although they have a sort of nacreousness to them for some odd reason and the whole thing is situated atop a bloated balloon of white rubber that constantly hisses nonstop. The ballon's obviously filled with levium, but who knows where the shopowner gets his levium from.
