An Unexpected Journey
2032 exact date unknown

Last thing I expected when waking up this morning was some asking about /that/ book. Next thing I know I have a feather cloning itself in my room, a magic barrier holding the door fast. Thanks to Le'Than we managed to get out of the room. Unfortunately before a barrier could be fully conjured a single feather got out. I managed to barely catch it before it touched down. As soon I did it started flying upwards. I refused to let go of it, I had to know where it was trying to escape too. Le'Than managed to grip the other end of the feather, sadly that didn't so much as slow it down. Just as we were about to hit the ceiling a dark void opened up and we ended up back in my room. As we appeared the feathers all flew up, quills pointed at us. Le'Than covered my with his body but just as the feathers touched skin, or shell(?) in the case of Le'Than, they froze and a voice spoke. We were taken to another place. Two others appeared as well, an Elf and another Halfling. The voice, which came from a blue flame, told us of a terrible danger awaiting our world. One that if left unstopped would destroy Ter. We were informed that all of us had potential, potential enough to hopefully stop this thing. We all agreed to help and were appeared in a freezing desert, a ancient Mayan temple infront of us and a jungle growing outwards from it. The voice told us we were in Egypt, in the year 2032. He gave us a mission, one that I intend to complete. He promised me /they/ would be involved. I will stop /them/ at /any/ cost.
