The Gallaian Desert

The Gallaian Desert, is a large peninsula on the eastern end of the continent of Talamhrite, there are two major regions within the harsh desert largely inhabited by Gallaian cat-folk, and the safe life-giving Oasis inhabited by the human Fetmearn. This region has some of the oldest non-elven histories on the planet and is often regarded as the Cradle of Civilization.

Geography

Being east of Mount Lyn-Pyn, there is seldom rain and as such water can only be found in sparse oases, the lone Akis River, and the inedible salt ocean. Most vegetation is found on the south-eastern coast though vegetation can be found deep in the desert around oases.

Fauna & Flora

Jackguar large feline-like rabbits, Rhigae large lizards with a rhino-like appearance, Delgado large reptilian elephant creatures, Ermanthian large boars with multiple tusks, Gredewa large hairy giraffe-like creature, Seropard large leopards with snake tails and heads.
