Lunichor (LUNE-ick-or)

This liquid said to have rained from Mensis upon its first rising, Lunichor fell to the ground of the Cepani plains, dissolving the land itself into a swampy mess. It is an extremely dangerous mineral, said to cause High Moon-like effects to those who are nearby it for extended periods of time, however, if consumed during the High Moon, it seems to mitigate the effects of it somewhat. Because of this, it is a highly valuable liquid.
For many years, it was unobtainable, so while its effects were known, it was nearly impossible to collect in a safe way. This didn't stop some humans, using prisoners and slaves in order to attempt to obtain the liquid, mostly for political officials and armies, in order to protect the humans from a potential surprise invasion from the Elves. However, in 782 HMR, Emilio Warrick (now known as Emilio Lunich, due to his contributions within the field), found a way to safely collect the material, with very minimal effects. Since then, he has set up a camp East of the Fortopian Mountains entitled Frugaro, named after his mother. There, many humans have attempted to steal the secret of gathering the resources, only to return completely stupefied and numb, or not at all.
