Dusktooth (D-Usk-Too-Th)

Dusktooth
Map of Dusktooth.
Dusktooth (1794 population 2,900), originally named Dusktooth Landing, is a town in northern Adria, Ospen. It is located 145 km (90 mi) north of Liham at the intersection of Daschand Way and Route 55, on the banks of the Nokoport Tributary. It is the centre of Nokoport County, surrounded by farm lands. It was known as Dusktooth Landing prior to Karka 4, 1613.   Number of Districts: 8   Meadcliff is primarily a human residential suburb outside of the walls of Dusktooth. Typically, human adventurers retire to this suburb due to the peaceful nature of living close to, but outside, a bustling town can bring. Occasionally, adventurers of all races and classes will respond to ads for second hand gear.   Moonpoint is primarily settled by artisan elves seeking an unconventional and free life style. Moonpoint residents often have a strong understanding of what art and adventuring gear is worth, but rarely will buy anything.   New Barrow inhabitants tend to be of halfling descent. While the halflings of New Barrow are considered to be quiet and courteous, they also can provide valuable information. This is due to halflings' affinity to Bard, Ranger and Rogue occupations.   Fisheath is where the local college is located. The location of the college inspired a sizable population of gnomes to settle in the Fisheath district. While the gnomes are typically harmless, recent events have misguided gnome education and has caused them to become much more aggressive.   Upper District is the central hub of Dusktooth's economy. Most common items, shops and temples can be found in the Upper District. The most notable location in the Upper District is the first Lunarpieces.   Chicken Lane is considered by most residents to be a red light district. While this district is mostly safe, it isn't uncommon to encounter an unsavory character or establishment. Residents will caution travelers to remain vigilant while in Chicken Lane.   South Warf is a mix of dwarven commerce and residence. The finest dwarven imports are received in South Wharf, before going to the Upper District. If you are looking to make a few extra gold pieces, South Wharf is a good option.   Dusk Garden is the site of the former Dusktooth Landing. The abandoned structures are still in good repair due to the undead settlers. The stench of decay is strong, so most travelers only pass through.
