FCV 1298

The Eagle

The most popular space voyaging craft is the FCV 1298, also known as the "Eagle" is a medium-range travelling spaceship. With room for fifteen passengers, and capacity for 10 tonnes of cargo this ship is among the most popular civilian vessels to travel from planet to planet. The blueprints were conceived by major Biggus D. of the Fabian military when discussing opportunities for a new military transport vessel, but the blueprints were bought by the space travel company of New Motors.
The military blueprints went on to become the Seal-class transport vessel, equipped with three 75 calibre machine guns and two rocket pods. and capacity for 50 soldiers, many copies and alterations have been made of this excellent craft. Such as the Artemisian AAC 777 used for defending entrenched positions, or the Fedrian GRB used for heavy bombardment and sieges.

Power Generation

An FTL Tusk drive powers the main engines, it is fueled by industrial BSS19 gas.

Propulsion

The three main engines propel the ship, with a maximum speed of 10500 km/h. When fully fueled it can last for five days, this is typically enough to travel from on planet to the next.

Armor and defense

Bulwark class countermeasures protect against small to medium ballistic attacks, steel doors also provide difficult to break through.

Communication Tools & Systems

A Marshall radar can detect any heat signal in a range of 100 kilometres, a Skyne communication system can pick up transmissions from very far away.

Additional & auxiliary systems

Secondary engines can be activated in case of primary engine failure, an EMP cannon can interrupt low-grade electronics in a short-range area.
