Despite its seemingly isolated location, Keretes actually proved an incredibe stronghold for armies during the downfall of The Aturan Empire 500 years ago. Troops statoned there to prepare to restock during an impending Aturan invasion. A sizable contingent of troops still uses Keretes as their hub and a sizable naval fleet is maintained there.
