Raijū (rai-ju)

A wolf like monster from japan that appears during thunder storms that hunts anything that is caught in the catastrophe. The Raiju Will hunt mostly prey such as deer or elk but will take to hunting humans if prey is scares or the human is weak old or sick. Mostly solitary hunter during sever enough storms the Yokai will occasionally work in large group, but these pack are always temporary and will usually go their separate ways or start to fight each other over the kill. Although native to japan these beasts have spread to the rest of the world due to severe storms such as tsunamis but are also common around to four spires of magic.
