Dragonborn express the influence of their draconic ancestry through the color of their scales, a breath weapon, and elemental resistance.

Breath Weapon.
Dragonborn can exhale destructive energy. Their draconic ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation as shown in the table above. After they use their breath weapon, they can't use it again until they rest for at least an hour.
Damage Resistance.
Dragonborn have resistance to the damage type associated with their draconic ancestry as shown in the table above.

Biological Traits

Dragonborn are taller and heavier than humans, standing well over 6 feet tall and averaging almost 250 pounds.

Growth Rate & Stages

Young dragonborn grow quickly. They walk hours after hatching, attain the size and development of a 10-year-old human child by the age of 3, and reach adulthood by 15. They live to be around 80.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Dragonborn typically choose to live their lives among other races, away from their draconic kin. Occasionally they form into small tribes, villages, or enclaves within other species cities.
