Tella [WIP]

Tella was shaped when the mages of a dying world conducted a powerful ritual breaching time and space and weaving their world with another one, carving a new landscape and decimating the established empires. A grand pillar of pure energy stands in the Cryfex Sea thought to hold the two worlds together. Thousands of years have passed and only the most ancient myths and legends speak of that time.   When the nations recollected their strength, strange and hungry gods emerged from a crack in the earth starting a war. For the most part, the older gods lost, giving up their land and worshipers and withdrawing from the world. In the 400 years that the Hungry Gods walked among mortals, on the continent of Auanox one empire conquered most of the land, pursuing souls for sacrifice. Then, the Gods stepped into the shadows. The empire crumbled and nations began to rebuild once again.   The invention of the airship in the mountain empire signed the end of the Era of Hungry Gods and began the Era of Enlightenment. There were no major conflicts for a hundred years now and everything as prosperity settles on Auanox. Only the Spire in the sea glows more and more intensely.   ____________________________________________
