Tears Saga

Tears Saga is a collection of short stories and novels that take place in the same universe and, together, build a narrative spanning from the creation of a primordial world by powerful titans, their fall and subsequent rise of beings referred to as gods, a war between those gods and demons, all the way to the creation of a new world to be populated by humans. Within these pages you will find information on the worlds, the creatures, and the events of which Tears Saga is comprised, as well as the stories which have been written and the ones that have yet to be told.

A world named for the energy from which it is composed, era. As this energy condensed over time, the first beings of the world rose from the pools; Titans, beings comprised completely of era. It was these primordial beings which gave form to the rest of the world by manipulating the flow of era within it. Thus began the Age of Creation.

The Age of Creation

Land masses, as well as bodies and streams of water, came into being through the wills of the titan architects. Further, the creation of animals and of beasts. Though not composed of raw era the same way as their titan predecessors, beasts were intelligent, could speak, and had limited capacity of manipulating the era around them. The beasts could not create anything new, but they modified the world that had been built by the titans before them, and many gathered around those titans whom they felt the strongest affinity for.

The Age of Chaos

As the world of Era became more developed and the wills of its creators began to clash, conflict formed between the titans of opposing ideals. The lands shifted and changed frequently as titans struggled against one another to assert their own image of the world onto Era. Many beasts supported the wills of different titans, creating factions that opposed each other whenever contact was made between them. This age was brought to an end with the appearance of a neutral titan with incredible and unpredictable power.

The Age of Stability

After the appearance of the Harbinger of Destruction, a titan who seemingly destroyed everything without prejudice, the conflict in the world began to mellow out. Most titans have settled into their own domains, or otherwise interact very little with others. Beasts have generally accepted some role to make their own, which they participate in either within the domain of the titan they serve or within the world at large if they have chosen not to follow any specific titans. As for the beasts whose primary role had been to war against others in the Age of Chaos, most became violent hunters, while some adapted to the change, and still others simply ceased to be. The Age of Stability was an age of peace, but it was not without conflict.

The once weakest of all beasts, the only beasts disconnected from the era of the world, discovered a way to harness that energy and banded together, rising up to challenge even the supreme power of the titans. These beasts would later adopt the moniker of gods and carve out their own world on Era.

After the fall of the titans, the newly risen gods took control of the world. Many clans, factions, and families formed, each with their own ideas of how to move on after the eradication of their common enemy. The first major conflict of the new age was brought forth by this lack of unity and leadership, and a great war between the gods took place to unite all under a single banner. The war was long, but ultimate the goal of unification was achieved, and a new kingdom was born. The next conflict was one of rebellion:
