The Eremite

"Now, that you have proven yourself worthy of -our- trust, I can tell you more about the Eremite."
"Why would the one we follow name themselves the Eremite?"
"That is the name only known to her enemies, who don't know that they are her enemies. Outside of the city, we call her-... The Queen"
The Eremite is an esoteric title, heard by the citizens of Kir Vallen most often referring to some entity, being or person in the Monarch Jungle. However, some tribalists who live serenely with their surroundings and those few following the druidic crafts have heard of "The Queen", never quite realizing they are the one and the same as a person.
The Eremite self-appointed her seat of power some years ago, although exact numbers due to her evasiveness are difficult to pin out. It is known that they do not associate themselves primarily with any tribe, but have contacted several through their weird messengers.

Wary Observers

An increased phenomenom on Phorex Isles is the appearance of brilliant-coloured lizardfolk. Strange creatures not capable of empathy, they seem to be favored harbingers of the Eremite's words. However, their purpose and act has this far remained as observers, watchers and messengers as it seems the Eremite is ever-watchful over the balance of power on the isles.
This is unusual, as most often the lizardfolk are connected to the primitive barbarians that live in Sister Island and that have halted any attempts of freefolk settling down on that island. It is a curious thing to ponder, how an Empire so vast as the Dragani Empire is unable to drive down a tribe of primitive lizards. It is unknown if the harbingers of the Eremite are related to the lizardfolk of the Sister Island or not.

Respect

Despite the mysticism around the Eremite, their followers seem to believe in the toil of their leader in near-religious way. The few who have looked into this "Eremite" suspecting them to be an agent of the Ghermygg's Claws find their followers not budging regarding information of their reclusive leader.
