Morrigan, Matron of Hags

Deity of all vile and scheming things

A mischievous deity, often associated with plagues and the ill will of hags. Morrigan has made her presence well known in the world through several catastrophes known as "Hag Marches" where several dozen hag covens form as one to fight with their great matron. A cycle of rebirth still unknown even to the great sages of Arcana Omen, Morrigan never seems to remain death but to return to the world time after time again, each time more horrendous than the last.

Trickery - Matron of all hags, Morrigan is a natural schemer as are all of those who follow her. Her plots far surpass minor inconveniences and cause bedlam, murder and madness to those involved in them. Through their access of weird magic, hags can perform promises normally out of reach for a mortal man and thus, they can deceive in manners much more devastating than a mortal ever could.
Twilight - Empowered by her constant rebirths, Morrigan understands that some plans require many phases of moon before they finally come into fruition. Due to their hideous appearance, hags are master disguisers and tread the grounds like master thieves. As such, Morrigan has granted them unnatural abilities through her control over dark and midnight.
Nature - One of the greatest enemies of nature due to the fact how she perverses and twistes it. Morrigan is capable of turning a pine-covered forest into a dark and crepid, corrupted wood. Oozing the very lifeblood of the world like an untreated wound, this empowers those who follow her. Many covens following Morrigan form their own ritual sites around areas that act akin to ancient scars to the world of Taurua.
