Godivan
Bitterwoods, Godwoods
Dark pine woods that have gained much reputation due to their history possibly birthing three new deities. Godivan is a large settlement in middle of a namesake forest. Once belonging to wood elves, its new settlers, dwarves, humans and high elves have worked hard to turn the central forest clearing into a flourishing town. Bitter to outside world for their unwillingness to help these new settlers when they were in a time of need, Godivanites are glad in the simple life they are living and quick to turn any outside problems away from their doorsteps. Especially trouble that comes from Praesidium, whom they see to be the largest to blame for their mishaps.Demographics
Blind to their own uniqueness in their bitter hatred, Godivan is one of rare locations where many races coexist in relative peace in such a confined environment. High elves, dwarves and humans all share bar stools at the same inns and taverns in Godivan. This uniqueness has lead to many travelers vising the place and even some gnomes settling in the village.
Defences
Greatest defence Godivan has is the Order of Delivered Steel. This order of mercenaries and knights serve the ideals of Inja, a local hero long since passed (and according to locals risen to godhood). Specialised in monster slaying and in divine justice, the knights are a terrible sight to any foe, was it monster or human.
Infrastructure
With parts of Old Godivan woods cut down, Godivan now has several fields and windmills to help them survive through long and cold winters. A single road leads to Godivan and goes unused, except by those who take a turn before the dark woods into Arc Mors.
Guilds and Factions
Few aware of the "False Scribes" order suspect the mysterious company to have a base somewhere in either Old Godivan woods or Godivan village.
