Town Hall - Heartlands Rest

Purpose / Function

The town hall acts as the mayor's office and as an archive of many of the town's documents.

Architecture

The small wooden building has plaster walls and polished wood floors. It has a strong wooden doors throughout/

History

The building was built after the local temple caught fire. It was quickly put out and there was no danger to the library but it was decided to move the towns documents to a new building. It was at this time that the mayor was given an office outside of the house that also goes with the position.

Tourism

Visitors to the town hall are often seeking audience with the mayor. Others seek to gain access to the archive which can prove difficult as non town residents need to have a sponsor to view the documents.
