Islarch
Islarch (a.k.a. The Prankster)
His name is Islarch, he is a mage from the mining village of Red Pool on the Eastern side of the Northern Region of Kings reach. He lives in a small shed behind his family's house where his mother and father, Terris and Mirdain respectively, and his brother, Kozzir, live. Islarch has always tried to get the attention of his peers and family by pulling pranks on the people around him. After causing his brother to believe he was in a cave-in with magic, his parents made a deal with the Mages College in hopes that with his attendance he would mature. After a couple years of learning and class pranks, Islarch realized that the mages their focused on the power of arcane and not the knowledge or the gift that it is. With this Islarch dropped out of the school before ever making anything of himself, and returned home. He now works as a caravan driver for the mining villages materials. While he is not running shipments he spends his time reading tomes that he took from the school to get a better understanding of the magic he uses, practicing them alone as his parents are not fond of his use of it. He has heard rumors of materials for a new staff he is working on and plans to head North to see what he can find with plans to stay away from his parents house.
With word of people trying to dismantle the mages guild in the North, Islarch heads North to craft a new staff, leave home, and hear these vigilantes out.

He was in the mages school for 2 years and then decided to leave when he realized the people in the school were focused on using the power of arcane and not learning the knowledge it has to give to us.

I work in a mining village with my family, me and my brother take the mined materials to neighboring villages.

Dropped out of school, made my brother unable to work in the mines as he was supposed to do.
A young wizard who knew of his abilities from a young age but not the extent of what they'd become. He used them as catalysts for his pranks on his neighbors in the village.
