Born to an average family Leofric grew up just outside King's Reach proper and eventually found his way to starting a family of his own within the city walls. Working as a respectable town guardsmen it all changed when the war ended. Removed from duty Leofric turned to a life of bounty hunting to make enough coin to see to his family.

Making Friends
Well what can I say we are certainly drawing attention to ourselves. We started a party at the inn and paraded through town to try and get into the Vengeful Gem. We of course were stopped and redirected to the local performance bar. Yorric gave a wonderful performance at the Famous Lute while I busked some more money into the coffers. Here we learned of Brom who asked for some help claiming some short paid gold from his latest deal selling cattle to Clifton. We agreed to help him reclaim gold with the intent on keeping the contract. Approaching Clifton he informed us of some other leads for work before we brazenly questioned him about the short payment. He eventually gave us the rest of the payment and offered to take us on in a little bit should we need some work. He also overpaid the difference which makes him look like a nice lead for work in the future. It's still a ways from home though. But maybe a few good payoffs may make it worth it. We deposited the money into the merchants guild and I sent out a letter to my family letting them know that it's there under the name Donnelson. I have been trying to scope out the town the past few days for any sign of Telnar's cohorts with no success. Hopefully if I keep at it something will turn up. Gotta keep all options open, and find something substantial soon.
Heartland's Rest
I arrived in Heartland's Rest with the Caravan I was hired to escort and protect today. Avandir made good on his promise and sent the agreed portion of my pay off to King's Reach to my family and gave me the rest. He also informed me that this is the end of the line and that he would certainly recommend me to other traveling caravans and take me on again should our path's cross again. With my employment ended I contemplate returning home to be with my family. Madeline would appreciate that. Roderick and Caroline should have their father around. If only the man I was told to seek out wasn't hanging at the gate. And hanged for murder of all things. I do may have fallen from the graces of my position in the town guard but I do not consort with killers. Although there is still some hope of salvaging this wreck. I know Telnar was working with an organization so there may be others around like him that may take me on. I also am intrigued by this Southerner Yorrick. It appears that he also was seeking out Telnar although I do not know why. After we sought after his possessions at the constable's offices and were turned away we inquired on work available at the mayor's office. The local board seems to hold some promising work as well. 2000 gold. Two fucking thousand gold. What I would do for a payout like that. I would be able to take Roderick out on hunting trips he has been desperately been asking for. A new set of toys for Caroline. New home and wardrobe for the wife. Gods what a score. Perhaps I can find a way to take on this basilisk and get it back to Teagan's store. Then again the price must take into account the risk. I will definitely need help. Then there is Telnar. I would like to know more about him and how he lived in order to track down someone else in this organization the steady work promised may see me alive and my family seen after. I don't have a lot of time to sit dormant though. Another month's expenses are fast approaching.
