Moradin

The First Hammer (a.k.a. All-Father, Stone Shaper)

The statue of the All-Father stood still, as a stone should, but there was a life to him that was undeniable. The long flowing beard almost looked like it was caught in the wind, large bracelets of rune covered stone tied along the length of the beard giving it weight. It's shield, a full ten feet in height looked like the stone was polished to the point of looking like adamantine. His heavy brow cast the large eyes in shadow and upon the figures head was a hefty crown of iron. The All-Father watched the entry way into the mountain, in his outstretched hand a mighty war hammer wielded in a single hand, it's shadow a warning to those who would harm his people.    The might of the All-Father is bared.

Tenets of Faith

Live life working hard for the betterment of the clan, Live life for the betterment of your own craft, Create; it is the gift of the clans to create, The blood of your brothers is as sacred as mine; do not spill it, the stone gave you life so live your life for the stone, the hills and mountains are your brothers and sisters; respect their wishes, take not the achievements of others; it is your duty to earn your own, you are kin of the mountain, you will be of the stone; let it protect you, body and soul.

Holidays

All-Father's Day, a celebration offered on the 25th day of Ichdom, it represents the day when Moradin and the other gods of the dwarven pantheon ushered the race into existence. Originally it was a day of great feasts, and it was expected that close friends and family would craft presents for one another. It was originally taboo to use a purchased gift, even a gift made shoddily or quickly had the spirit of creation in it that manifests the will of Moradin, but with the Age of Separation the holiday has become more commercial in the absence of the god's physical presence.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Moradin's ultimate goal is to find a way to permanently deal with the threat that Nalbotio poses to both the divine and material plane. Having been the head smith on the chains that the gods used to chain the titan during the betrayer war, he has always felt inadequate that they could not find a way to kill the titan.
