Sands

Sands was 17 when his father's (Rays) ship, the Rival docked in Stoneshield 5 years ago from Rakesh. When The plague broke out he they were stranded in the emerald peninsula. Rays died from plague but Sands was left the Rival and decent amount of gold. Sands is one of the very few living Tabaxi in the emerald peninsula and often is trying to find his place, possibly the only one in Stoneshield. Although Sands could live a quiet comfortable life with his inheritance, he rarely uses it. He banked most his money and lets it sit. The Rival was mostly cleaned out but Sands uses it as a home that he rarely stays in. Usually he is found around his friends in the mostly ineffective street gang, The Broken Bottles. The Bottles rarely do anything too disruptive or illegal. Mostly horribly planned extortion that is more a nuisance than a danger. Behind the scenes Sands has paid off the gangs crimes and sees that the gang gives the group something to get behind in a land that doesn't have a lot of options. Sands has a knack for spellcasting, and can from time to time be seen and Madame Vu's looking for books on the subject. Madame Vu has also given him some training on magic. --- Sands now possess a contract to head up the Lovelace Foundation, a rebranding of the Broken Bottles to be a urban renewal organization.
