An Isle of Answers

Codex is a sullen island home to a group of Mute Exiles, many of whom are ex-Whithern that dared to answer instead of ask. Some of these exiles possess a certain question, the answer of which they've been searching for forever; should they find the answer to their question, they may start speaking again.
Certain exiles may also reveal information when given the proper sign (though of course they'll do it without speaking), and the other few that are willing to communicate may provide answers (though of course these answers will lack their corresponding questions).

An Ancient Shrine

Codex is also home to an ancient shrine, covered in sigils that have never been identified. The shrine is guided by a strange colony of large monkey like creatures, making any extended look at the shrine and sigils difficult. The exiles avoid the shrine, and when ask indicate danger, pointing back over to the House of the Question
