Orochi

A non-native race brought to Tarana by the multiversal nexus, the orochi-bito are a race of four-armed snake-folk that make their homes in the forests of Wujan. This often leads to territorial conflicts with the Varana, as they are not fond of the monkey-folk's carefree, fun-loving nature, which has often come at the cost of orichi dignity.

Reverence of the Land

Orochi are divided into a number of tribes, with the three biggest being found on the island nation of Jakari; the Kashi, the Matsu, and the Sakura. Each tribe has their own values. but ultimately the same culture.   Unlike other races, the Orochi primarily power their magic with mana rather than Aether, giving them a strong disposition towards the natural magics of the world, as the energies of mana change to align with the season.
