Shain

The Goddess of the sky and weather. She is considered a very peaceful Goddess when happy and extremely vicious when displeased. She is thought to bring bad weather and despair to those who do bad deeds. Her followers practice a secretive martial art known as Shainkan, which has several forms which each have a lethal and non-lethal style. As Shain highly values mortal life, the non-lethal style is preferred but the lethal style is allowed, though typically only in cases of self-defense.
Shain's followers are taught to prioritize kindness and hospitality. They are called upon to be generous. However, they are also taught to be unforgiving of wrongdoings. Her temples often exact extremely cruel punishment for crimes.
While other Gods are known to interact with humans and to even have affairs with them, Shain is thought of as the untouchable Goddess. While she may make her presence known to her followers and will assist them in life, close contact with her is practically unheard of. She is depicted as holding the sky up on her shoulders, and often as having translucent or transparent skin, through which different forms of weather can be seen.
