Heshknu

Heshknu was struck by lightning sixteen times accidentally during his lifetime and became progressively both more insane and more understanding of lightning and storms. He then climbed to a high mountain peak and performed a ritual that would allow himself to both absorb lightning and be absorbed by it. He subsequently became a Kynarek. He is related to the Lalaika, either as their leader or their father, depending on the culture.
In some cultures, he is considered to have raped Shain for his power and in others he is thought to have stolen a piece of jewelry from her that stored some of her power. He is sometimes considered to be her child or to be the child of a shkai and a lalaika. In general, he is a mysterious and reclusive figure.
