Tapped Island

A mountain erupted from the seas, giving the gods of chance and change an opportunity to make shit happen. A small canvas for these two to splash their magical god-paint. While the rest of the known world watched this place developing from a distance, licking their lips as the turkey of newfound land roasted in the oven. The chance and change found that perhaps they went overboard, when shaping and coloring this island of fortune. Monsters and giant trees covered the island. High magicka levels and arcane concentrated around the spit of land in a 40 mile radius, allowing for magical phenomena to take place here, and nowhere else. You'd think these things would spook people away. But everyone really just couldn't wait to dig in. The many races and kingdoms grabbed their golden forks and made voyage for the land. And you are along for the ride. Or at least one of the many trips made back and forth.
