Old Vanseran

Old Vanseran, Great Vanseran or as it is sometimes jokingly called the "Second Second Empire" was an old Empire that controlled all land from western Sachan to eastern Sah'ard with its capital in the city of Vanseran. The empire rose to prominence in 454 when it started the Sah'ard expansion a military campaign into the Sah'azz marshes which gave the small city more lands and plenty of slaves making it incredibly wealthy, but its real glory days are in the Tefaran-Vanseran wars, which were a series of wars between 548 to 605, which Sachan started of winning but eventually came to a standstill. It was during this time that Vanseran came to contest Tefaran as being the successor to the First Empire due to also being a large human state which proved it could best the "Second Empire" on the field of battle. After these glory days however very little occured, a few smaller wars were fought between the two empires which lead nowhere and Vanseran built up its core in Sachan as it prefered the region over Sah'ard due both to it bordering their rival in Tefaran and it being majority human while Sah'ard continued to be primarily Sah'azz and other non-humans. That was untill the "Dark Invasion" which killed the Second Empire and severely wounded Vanseran as well as in the wake creating a unified Kenirr which at first positioned itself as allies to Vanseran, due to Vanseran supporting Kenirrik rebellious sentiment when it was in the Second Empire. But later rivaling it and eventually conquering the Vanserani heartland of Sachan. With this war Vanseran became a joke, an old empire clinging to greatness and it would fall even more as in an attempt to make Sah'ard its new core they created a rebellion, turned a war (Rebellion of the Tounge), which caused even Sah'ard to breake loose, and after an even more disastruous last attempt to reconquer Sachan, which was fractured and suffering from the Kenirrik civil war. The empire fully ceased to be as the monarch was abolished.
