Kenverr

The often mythological and sometimes divine Kenverr is the supposed settler and founder of Kenirr. Rumored to have sailed from the west (Zarrash) on several ships with his large family of five wives eleven sons, eleven daughters and all his servants as he sailed along the coast (from north to south) his family left and settled the land leaving him alone with his twelfth son, born on the journey and the boys mother his fifth wife to establish the last settlement at the end of his journey, Heffirr. His sons then all became the rulers of the coast and as of such all were children to the Kenverr, the great father.   The spirit of the Kenverr is a key philosophical concept in the old (now reborn in the south) election system that was created with the unification of Kenirr. Seen as something crucial that was gained by a person through being choosen making him a bit more than a man and a spiritual heir to the Kenverr like his first twelve sons. The Kenverr has always been a semi-divine figure but the worship of him has been strengthened by the ressurgence of Kenirrik as an identity after the civil war.
