Infernal Language

Infernal (Armoevog [ɚ.moɛ.'vog]) is the language of devils, the denizens of the Nine Hells. It was created by the willful combination of Abyssal and Celestial, an affront to the angels who spoke the latter.   Infernal shares its case and word structure with Celestial, but borrows many features of Abyssal, including word order, pluralization, and phonology. Though the case system is similar to Celestial, the creators of Infernal have more than tripled the number of cases, which makes navigating a devil's contract written in Infernal particularly challenging for those unfamiliar with the language's subtleties.   More info coming soon.
